My name is Jay, and I am a storyteller.
Some of the stories I tell are true, and some of them are pure fiction. Most of them fall somewhere in the middle. When people ask me what I do for a living, I tell them that I’m a professional liar. I get paid to make up stories.
I write in many different genres, and in many different styles. Whatever the story needs, the story gets. I just try to get out of the way and let the words work their magic.
When I’m not writing, I read, play games, listen to music, and play guitar. My main hobby is Dungeons and Dragons, which I have been playing for almost 40 years now. I also love traveling, exploring new places, and meeting new people. My favorite places to haunt ar libraries, bookstores, and museums.
I practice minimalism and voluntary simplicity. My life is very peaceful and simple, and I like it that way.
Kindness and compassion are everything. I am not always kind, nor am I always compassionate. Therein lies my work.
